Marcus,
Thank you so much for your lighting information. I believe that had you used a reflector to bounce the light into the shadows, this portrait would be not as good as it is; for me it is perfect this way.
I do have two more questions, if you do not mind. When you refer to 80x80 softbox, is this in centimeters? Also, I have a question about the Canon, do you do any post production on your images or are these straight from the camera and cropped for the web? There is a certain consistancy to the skin tones in your images, I am hoping this is inherent to the Canon's, this would convince me to switch from Nikon.
Best regards, John

John:
I used a 80x80 softbox on Editas left side (viewed from us). I belive that I coved the half of the softbox with some black fabric (to make the lighter harder than it otherwise sould be). The softbox is aprox 1.5 meters to the left and little higher than Editas face. On Editas right side I have nothing (I usually use someting to reflex the light, lighting up the shaddows, but I didn't use this here. For background I use a dark-blue curtain I bought from IKEA.
Let me know if you have any more questions and I'll try to answere them.
/ Marcus
