Beauty! When I see a subject like that I often think, if just the people wouldn't be here...I like places/photos like that. I think it's wonderful! CB

so believably moody - who has not founds himself in a tube tunnel alone at night - unsure if more worried about the lack of human presence or its accidental finding around the corner...

Gasp, emy!! i came back and i find the continuation of this Hypnotic serie!Superb! No human presence, only ruins of the darkest modern middle age. In particular, this composition really hits my soul with his palish vision. Very very compliment. Your serie "citySolulAlienation" is inspiring me for a similar work. :-) Comèpliments againg, Marco

I'm almost suprised what imagination can do...when I take a long, long look...I can see the army of people rushing along...
the touch aspect in here are the commercials and the face to the right...
a splendid serie

Emy, do you carry a ladder with you? What really makes this photo is the high perspective. The centered composition works well for the desolate feel - if you followed the "rule of thirds", it would create a totally different feel than what you are saying. This photo is an excellent example of knowing when to "break the rules". Excellent work Emy and an excellent series.

I like the series. I take it you used a tripod. Its interesting how the digital images look almost film like at this ISO setting and not too different grain wise from the one you shot on Superia 400.

The only thing that occupies the tunnel of emptiness are images of people. It could be translated into the human mind. One who was once surrounded by friends, find themselves alone with only their own voice echoing back at them and the memories like images in the mind of those who used to fill the emptiness. I love this whole series, you have done a wonderful job of representing emptiness~

Very good perspective and tunnel effect here. The green/yellow makes it appears very unreal and as it was a dream (nightmare).... Also here emptiness and a cold touch of city allienation. The light effectsof the lamps add even more a feeling of being sucked into the tunnel. Excellent dear Emy!

I really like this one Em. Before I preferred the B+W's, but the yellow makes this image very unsettling.
