Thank you, Naftali, for your comment on this and other photos of mine. Strange how you shoot beautiful ice scuptures and I shoot water and sun as a preference. Water (ice) and sky offer infinite possibilities, don't they?
I took due notice of your reamrks about frames. I am experimenting, in fact, and not all add to the pic, I agree. Bevel and emboss is maybe the simplest and most effective framing.

Paula, this is a great shot. i like the composition (esp. the somewhat off-symmetry pillars of the trees), the angle (really lifts you up) and, of course, the color. an image that is asking to be transferred on fabric or something not entirely flat.

It's an amazing shot, Paula. If I would be an expert, I would say it looks like Elms Forrest from the Lord of the Rings. But this could my kids probably answer better.
