....and a beautiful morning it is, my friend. I like especially the way you captured the first sunrays on the little church.
Thank you, Dave, for your generous comments on my "Fish 1, 2 and 3" and for your remark about my solving the problem of the flash.
Best regards,

Wow Dave that lighting is perfect, as if pin pointing that church on purpose. Beautiful color and I like how the tracks in the foreground lead us up the hill into the sunlight. Alison

The tracks lead nicely into the lit up church. About the cropping; how about keeping the tracks, so that they start (almost) in the left corner, and making the shot vertical? Anyhow, a nice wintry image with a very beautiful lighting!

Michael M.   {K:1194} 1/13/2005
Beautiful light! I was going to suggest cropping up from the bottom, but I see Serge has already done so (although I think I wouldn't crop quite as far). My reason for cropping was that the track doesn't lead the eye to the church, where you want it to go.

Beautiful scene. Are those your ski tracks in the foreground? They lead right into the picture. A masterful touch.

Greetings Dave,
Love the warmth of the church in your image, it is set off nicely from the cold snow, would not crop the image, the cold snow field helps add to the warmth of the light on the church, best regards, Sandra

A refresher morning atmosphere as the soft sun light fallen on the church, as of warming up the building after a freezing night, I feel cold just seeing this image, but of great winter landscape, marvelous job.Saeed
