lovely shot, roger. beautiful movement captured in such glorious simplicity. i'm seeing ALOT of these colours & tones this time of years. The short, grey days of winter have settled in, although in a few days we begin the climb back to longer days & the gift of spring.

Well exactly, heard that, I was just wondering if there is a lower common denominator defintion of beauty that has conventions you'd know of, say, if you were processing this for masses of punters to present it in a way they would expect etc etc.
You've captured the air in front of the tree say (and i like how that adds to context and all, would convention contrast it out somehow is what I'm asking.
If you were naff, disregarded reality, and were not roger shooting for roger what would you do to this

Yup, mysty australia yeah, for 3 minutes each day before the burn.
Is it convention to do something with contrast to bring the tree forwards that you are refusing to do Rog?
