Pradeep, I think each of the effects you have done are cool! I like the bright colors in the first two, but I think I prfer the B&W version you did best!
As soon as I have a few spare minutes without my kids in my ear I will peruse your portfolio!!  )

Thanks for the heads-up Melanie. I hope Howie isn't down and out for much longer.
I've done a 3rd attempt but still not getting the soft feeling of Howie's version. Hmmm. Do you like any of my 3 attempts?

Cool stuff, Pradeep! I'm not positive, but I think Howie uses Photo Shop, and I have no idea how he came up with the effect he posted. I think Howie is down and out with the flu right now, because he has not posted anything in a few days now.

Howie/Melanie, for fun I thought I'd give this image a go or two. I have come up with a couple of ideas that may work with this image. However, I'd still like to know how you arrived at your attempt Howie. ;-)

Hi Howie, I hope this isn't too late, but I really like the effect you've done with Melanie's portrait.
I am really just getting started and mostly just create my own effects and/or scripts as I see fit, however yours is not one that I've run into too much. If you don't mind, can you please give me a hint as to how you've done this (I use Paint Shop Pro 9).

I do like the angle you've used Melanie and also the look your giving. I would have probably cropped to make it more a portrait style portrait. Hope you dont mind but I have a technique which I think works well on this photo.
