That is a great portrait dear Olga, I like the way the face viewed at the middle as also the way you 'use' the focus in wide aperture, very artistique portrait. Best regards!

Well, there a lot of comments here Olga but I'll add mine also. The perspective is unusual and very creative. You see things through a unique view and it captures a mood that is intruiging as well. great shot. -MM

Efisio, this is a personal image , I mean the child was so alone there, playing in the playground...it reminded of my lonely feelings as a child.I cannot escape from this city, I want to leave , I think I found one way but I don't think I will ever manage to bring it to an end. With regards, Olga.

I have never been to London. That was taken from a playground in a quite poor neighborhood.I wish I could travel to London to go to the place you are writing about.Maybe one day...Thank you for commenting on my picture, the little child was caught playing alone!!!!That was a noughts and crosses game but noone really was keen on it.Also, the mother was absent...quite sad ...sorry!Kisses once more!

The next time you get to London (UK), there is a building that was originally belonged to a company named 'OXO', and today there is an excellent bar and restaurant on top... that offers a very good 360 view of the city... reserve before!
The title fits so well... to a pleasing capture... for the mother will be proud!

I saw this image on donor forum where somebody recomended it for an award. I agree. I think this is a unique capture where the curious kid is in focus without being in focus. Exceptional image.

Excellent caption for a wonderful idea well carried out, Olga. Putting the child-subject out of focus is a stroke of genius. Thank you for attributing miracles to me. But it's not I who works the miracles, I just let my camera and ring-flash perform them for me. Ta save mou, Rafi

excellent image.. love the dof and the composition. the use of b&w really adds to the image. the child being out of focus actually adds to the image and it would not be the same without it. great work

I look at it another time... yes!!! It's your best shot IMHO. Know i try to comment this one in a dignitous way, despite my very bad English (reason of my short comments, so i use a translator :) ). This image has in clear way several reading levels. The choice of perspective and the portrayed subjects are a true masterpiece. You have chosen the point of view of the children, putting one out of focus, this reminds me Y. Ozu's movie, where the camera reflects the posture of japaneses in their house, this choice does you honour. Yes for me this is a urban vision... a child urban vision, not focused in the adult's atention, forced in his game in narrow and to him not favourable dimensions. Represent this reality, if I have interpreted your point of view in the correct way :), is not easy at all. You do it... do it in a simple fabolus way. I'm proud to be a friends of your, till "prima ballerina" :) Ciao Efisio PS: i'm exausted, this is my most long comment in english i hope it's comprensible.

I've been musing on this photo a little - the blurred face is, despite the blur, very expressive. It's the composition that allows this to be so. Great photo.
