They are all good Mandy but I now see the three you were speaking of. lol I think I like the second one best of all, But here again the selective coloring is my favorite. This one I like next because I love the feel of it from the edges. I think Dan is right and has a great point.......But like you Im just learning ps and what a learning curve it is! (wow) I just now learned to do simple layers hehe. I just did my first one last night !!!

Hi Mandy yea when it comes to vignette's you'll want some elbow room. Go leaf through some old books and compaire the vignette's in them. The effect here suggests to me that you were trying to mimic the shape of the shutter or at least that is what I see. It's a good attempt but the lack of extended sides for the image hinders it.

Hey Mandy, just stopping in for a boo. I have also used the gradient tool for vignette, it takes some playing around, but you can get some really different results... there are also plug-ins for photoshop like melancholitron from flamingpear (one word), you can use the demos for free. I like the shot other than the vignette. It's a nice glimpse into someone's life

Dan, this is one of the original images, I took like 5 different shots because the kids were squirmy and I wanted to try to get the best one. ~mandy

I like the others better Vignette would be better if you did it with a quick mask. I would mask them then Blur the mask before applying. gives a nice effect.

Photo is too tight for a good vignette. Vignette is not done well either but I'm sure you can improve that. Second one is better but I haven't seen the third one yet.
