Spectacular capture, lets go fishing, this kind of looks like our Blue River, we can go to the natural waterfalls that you drive across and it has water over it most of the time, now there are times when you can drive across it. Some times we take ever thing off or line but the hook, we bait it and keep letting the line out it goes on down on the side the falls goes and it isn't long till we have a catfish. I think your picture is picture perfect. rated

Superb composition Jim, I like the fast shutter too - gives it that much more dynamism (is that a word?) than the smoothed slow-shutter variety! Would make a great print, the bigger the better - about 6 feet by 4 feet!! Regards Steve.

I really like the treatment of the water here. It's such an important part of the picture, and it LOOKS like WATER. Not some long-exposure milky substance out of a dream... Using the breaking water to frame the bottom of the image makes it very strong.

Dear Jim,
I have just written my comment for your photo which was uploaded a few minutes ago then I realized this.
Comparing the other one, I see the sky and that blue makes more attractive this photo on the other hand capturing the river from the front side helps us to see the dynamic in photo.
Briefly now I'll prefer this.
