People who meet my son are always telling me, "He doesn't look autistic." I guess they're expecting "Rain Man". Autism has so many faces. Here's mine. He's hard to photograph, this consisted of me chasing him around the park, but he's always genuine, never posed. Gotta love that!
Hi Laura! What a beautiful son you have here! I deal with Autistic children everyday and unfortunately most people think an autistic child has a certain look, I think maybe they have autism confused with Down's syndrome, they are very different! My autistic children act very much like Rain Man though.
