About	So there I was standing on the beach with my camera set at 22 zoom, watching this guy tied to a parachute of sorts jumping the waves with a miniature surfboard attached to his feet! I'm a bit frustrated that the chute was out of frame, but from the distance I was away, it wasn't possible to get both the chute and the guy on the board. I was pleased that I got him in the air! Not one of my best, but one of my most challenging thus far.

Hey, kiting shots are not easy - I took 30 today and don't rate a single one. If you get the kite as well as the kiter you tend to loose the impact of the picture. I tend to go just for the kiter - but then the picture doesn't tell the whole story...

This does look rather odd with the fellow in this position. Now you have a project of attaching the chute to this picture. Beautiful water colors. Don.
