This photo was shot a few weeks during a hike through Eastern Tennessee on the Appalachian Trail. The mountain in the background is Hump Mountain which the trail traverses. The bulls in the background guard the entrance.
I don't know if I should tell you or not, but I didn't know how else to contact you. My grandfather had a heartattack recently. If you are in the area, I'm sure he would like to see you.
Also, I will be at Burbank on Thursday. So, if you are there, I hope my presence doesn't surprise you.
I like your composition Jason. The foreground rocks make a good strong focal point to hang the composition on, but the image crys out for detail in the sky. The scanning artifacts don't help and there is some fudging around the rocks. Maybe a better scan or a retake, if possible, using a gray grad to hold sky detail. Regards John
