thanks, Roger. I shot these directly into the sun - & that's how i shoot many of my flower shots. I love the kind of blown out, somewhat overexposed look it creates. :O)

Often it's more nice with the white background for flowers. The effect of colors will be more effective. I have seen some of your other pictures and can see you have maked this experiment before. You make it nice and give the pictures another dimension.
I have also tried to use the effect af the sunlight and know it isn't easy.
I would like to give you som point, but it's not possible. :)
