Thanks Dina for your honest comment. It's always nice to have positive comments, but it's the comments that are "negative" that make me improve my photos.

look at the clarity here! I do like the duotone but itlooks a little too green... your photography style is rich!

Thanks for your comment Joćo.

I have used PS CS on this image. First I always shot in RAW (I have a 300d), so I can set the white balance and correct any exposure errors afterwords. That doesn't mean that I don't think thru my image before, but sometimes one can make errors...

I have converted this image to black and white in PS by using the channel mixer and by clicking in the monochrome box and then enter the values 40, 40, 40 and -5. Sometimes one have to change these figures, but I always start with this one and in this image it was ok.
After that I have done some minor dodge and burns as I would do with a normal print. The softbox is to the left approx 0.5 meter from the girls and directly to the right of the girls I have a large white reflector approx 15 cm from the girl. Since the left girl don't get as much light on her left side (our right) I had to lighten that area a bit in PS using the dodge tool.

I have used some quadtone in this image to achive the brown tone. Normally I only use duotone, but I wanted to try something different in this image.

If you have anymore question, feel free to ask.

Hi Marcus,

I think everybody who looks at it like it a lot!
Beautiful girls, wonderful composition.
Did you use PS on this photo?
I'm starting at PS, light, shadows and stuf like that, but I still try to do as "plain" photos as possible (sorry my english).

The way you capture their eyes... is special.

Cheers

I don't like it at all. I LOVE it. This double portrait is beautifully done all the way around.
