Christopher, I was in Angelsey a couple of weeks ago (nr Beaumaris) but didn'y get to take many photos, nor did I see this. I wish I had but couldn't have pictured it better than this. The composition, depth, colours etc are all spot on. I can see that it would be tempting to shoot landscape with space in front out to sea but I think this was a great choice to include the foreground sand with its textures. Adds to the feeling of the boat being beached, but the boat is sitting in its own pool of water as if longing for the sea. What a great find.
