It took a while to track this image down again. I meant to post earlier congratulations on the picture of the day. Great color and sharpness. I like this quite a bit. I think I have a softer spot for your other image though as fewer droplets are less taxing on my eyes.

bobby, i can't believe i missed this one. beautiful drops with great lighting. i dig the shadows left by the individual drops and unlike hugo, i also like the reflections. they give the drops (more) shape. another beauty!
take care, tom
PS - congrats on the POTD!! very well deserved...

Hi Bobby, although the perspective is less strong, the lines in this one are better used, IMO. The composition is a bit mored closed too, which, I think is a nice touch. I think this shot would be better off without the reflection of the window, but we've discussed that.
As to the composition, I think it is a good choice to include the deep red part on the left, but as the drops are more focused on the left, the weight of the image is also a bit unbalanced. Other than that a very creative and intriguing experiment.
Cheers,
Hugo

I would have never guessed what this was a picture of without additional information. It almost looks like something that could be rendered on a computer. Great job of being original and creative.
Maybe its me, but I think the colors on the drops of water seem a little too strong. It reminds me a little of what specs of water look like on an LCD monitor. Nothing a little PS couldn't accomplish. Just my two cents.
