About this man i know is not as old as you thought he is.he has just been having a hard life.i actually dont know any details about it but the face,expression and the lines on his face reflects his life abit i think.i scanned the image in 4800 dpi but have to admit that there is still a quality loss.thanks for your interest.

Very interesting shot and love the shodow and the tone of the picture. I would just fix the got spots on the right and bring down the intensity of the light on the right. Keep up the good work.

I'm sure the scanner is not giving the right impact of the original picture.
The shot is great !

Look at the technical specification of your scanner. Probably the Max density is too low.
