Lori, I like this shot and you are absolutely right. When you see these, you think "that would be a great photo" and then what? I've shot a bunch of these in CA myself but they "just need something more". I like what you've done here.
Yes, it's starting to get toasty.... hitting 90s today.

More computer problems; tried to install an internal hard drive yesterday (for back up purposes), somehow it messed with the bios, then all of a sudden the computer died again. No cursor, wouldn't boot up...NOTHING. Tried everything. Finally had to do another recovery. At least last time (all of 3 days ago) I had one partitioned drive, C and D. All I lost was on C, and for some reason the recovery removed the partition. I now have one giant C drive and it wiped out EVERYTHING on the D. (make sense? :(
Today, am going to return yesterday's purchase, and will try an external drive.
All bookmarked websites are gone, everything is gone.
Could you resend me the various links? Including the one that makes photos larger. Of course I have basically NO PHOTOS anymore. I have some from 2 years ago on zip disks. But, that's all!

The dramatic lighting is really set out with the wonderful toning.
