About I've recently taken up developing my own photos. It's been quite fun and I've been using different types of film to see what kind of results I get. The film I used here was Solaris 200 developed in Kodak D-76. I used Photoshop for contrast, levels, cropping & the border. I was going to desaturate it, but I kind of like the little bits of noisy color.

Very dramatic scultpre. May I suggest to play with the set to add more story into the background? Very nicely done.

I don't know what it is exactly about this photograph; it's so expressive. It looks like a gargoyle. He seems to be in the middle of nowhere land. I like the graininess, and the look of fog or mist that it suggests. Excellent work.

If anyone can tell me what this character is called in Irish folklore, I'd appreciate it.

I know that his purpose was described as being placed on a window sill facing outwards. When evil spirits came by looking to create misery in the home, they would see him sitting there, assume the household was already miserable and pass on to the next.
