About It was a beautiful evening last night, so Carole and I went for a stroll along the Parrett from Black Bridge to Langport and back. Then we drove to Muchelney and I took a few pictures. We stopped on another bridge en route and I took this picture of one of the Parrett's tributaries.

Lovely, full range of tones, Chris. Again, something of Turner in the sky and distant trees.

Great picture, to me it seems like there should be just a little bit more of the field on the left side though.

Hi Keith,
Thanks for the comment and observations ~ always much appreciated!
I think Roger is just very busy at work. I had an e-mail a couple of days or so ago, but I haven't seen or heard anything since.
Kind regards, Chris

Hi Chris, very nice image. Colours are nicely balances in my opinion, anything more would be too much for me ;-)

As for the composition, theres something gnawing about the image, and I haven't put my finger on it yet. Can't decide whether its the bush on the left or the central composition of the water, but something is not 'spot on'. Maybe a slightly more diagonal comp would overcome this - I really don't know.

ps I haven't seen anything of Roger for some time, is he on holiday or something ?

Keith

What a lovely scene. One can sense the peace and quiet of the country side in this photograph. Very well done, Chris.
