Thanks for your positive comment on this shot, Hugo. I agree with what you said. Lightening up the image would draw some of the intensity away from the fiery orange glow of the scene. Thanks again

Wow! Perfect composition, Jason! I love the firy tones and the framing by the silhouettes. Stunning shot! I don't think brightening up the image is necessary, the dark tones work for me. Still would like to see what it would do to the photo....
Cheers,
Hugo

I can't see the photo. It must have not been saved. Nonetheless te sillouette was what I was after. I could have done a longer exposure and opened up the exposure some, but the effect might have been ruined by destroying the serenity of the scene. Send me your photo and let me see what you have done? Thanks

Hi Jason-- I fooled around a little with your photo to brighten it up. Let me know what you think.

This photo is really well done in capturing the sky and the reflections in the water. However, I'm wondering if it is just a little too dark to the left and in the foreground and whether the photo would have been better if you had pulled back a little bit. Either way, it is a beautiful shot! Great job! -- Laurie
