I am watching this photography from much time I am bewitched in front of much beauty... the semplicity in the joy of a smile! this child expresses happiness and joy for the life... the tone b/w - sepia that you have chosen it is big! he increases in remarkable way the force and the semplicitą of this release!
technically perfect one just exposure and balanced lights in dear way!

I don?t know what you exactly mean with shooting outside the box. But imo everyone should shoot what he/she likes no matter what the comments are. And this one here is a very beautiful and sharp image with nice colours I like it very much. And you uses photoshop so what, nothing wrong with that. Pleas keep posting this kind of pictures a lot of people can learn from it .
