Quite possibly there are yellower & oranger taxicabs in NYC!

Danny: You're comment really made me think whether or not I enhanced the colors at all, haha...it looks pretty much the same, if I did change it, it wasn't much! maybe because it was taken digitally...i used to live part time in nyc and i believe the taxis really are that color! hehe well here is the original image (just resized):

It would appear that the saturation knob has been given quite a bit of a nudge here. Here is the photo of the same cabs I took with a regular colour film (Kodak Gold) - original image with yellow cabs is at the top, the one with "orange" cabs at the bottom. This is no criticism, I'm just nitpicking... :)

Just in the city myself---live very close. I love the colors here---as well as the intense, fun, crazy energy of Times Square. The cabs are great--although I don't ride in them much anymore---too afraid to put my boys in one --- so we drive! Great DOF too!
