We were at a gathering with not much intention to take serious photos. I figured the light lookd good so I asked a couple of friends to pose. During their strugle over who should be the model, they came up with good combinations. Had to shoot them with 1/2 sec shutter speed since they couldn't hold their poses for long, the softness of the pictures are a result of these movements and my non steady position.
Hi Ida, I like the lighting in this one. I'm sure you'll understand that the comment about the softness on your previous photo applies here too. I find it far less distracting, though, since the faces are more clearly visible and that makes the subject recognisable. You could even argue that the softness was intentional, as it does provide / emphasises the atmosphere. Very joyful, if not lovingly. Very well balanced composition, too.
Please, do elaborate on this theme with a bit more light...)
