Great!!!
With all three versions of your visa, you have made me understand how one can make something to be looked very different...
I love the texture, and the detail of the stamp... It looks as if it was plastified...

Hi Raamses, I wondered about that too. Apparently, in order to prevent forging, they stamp it, and later cover it with a "hot stamp", a very thin layer of plastic foil with the overlaying marking on it.
Cheers,
Hugo

WOW Hugo, this is cool. But one stamp looks more like a plastic sticker. Is it or is just ink that looks like it? anyway I like it. Great picture, you got the fine details.
Congrats,
Raamses.

Hi Diego, thanks for your comment, B&W? Interesting thought! I went for colour deliberately, because I liked the green tones of the stamp in combination with the subltle use of colour in the passport. I figured B&W would remove this contrast in colour, but maybe it'll work too....
Thanks for the idea, I'll reconsider it next time....)

Hi Hugo,
I know exactly what you mean, as long as you come back... we need you here!
Amazing effect with the two different surface areas , glowing on one hand and soft (like to touch) on the other hand.
Well done!
Right now there is a hailstorm here and the sound on roof windows is horror to me, need to switch off the music, loud!!!
Take care, Verena

what a hectic life you have... really like your visa-to-iran triptych, they have a great documentary touch. i have seen burri's exhibition in paris a few weeks ago and i was fascinated by the tons of visas, tickets, etc. he collected in his career. your series reminded me of that...very nice one! ciao am
