This is actually the face of a bust in the museum at L'Arc de Triomphe in Paris. I was using a totally manual camera and some of the high speed film which I needed for experiments in my lab at the time of a trip I took to Paris (life's tough!!). The face really looked freaky so I got in as close as I could to it and just took a few shots. I've printed it myself a fair few times and given/sold it to a few of my friends. The image posted here is after the negative was scanned onto a disc rather than after scanning in a printed image as with my other photos. I've used some photoshop to adjust the contrast, dodge and burn etc. but tried to make the posted image look like one I'd be producing by traditional B&W darkroom methods.
