About I was bicycling across Tasmania's Midlands, enroute to Hobart, on my red Norco mountain bike. Passing along a back lane of a small village sarounded by dusty paddocks I saw this old red bicycle, it clearly lovingly looked after and leaned up agaist a fence. This made a good subject I thought, taking camera from my handlebar bag. Then some noise stirred in the tiny, but rambling old house in the background. An elderly man came out, he was on his way out to buy bread and milk he told me. That's when I thought it a good idea to get this shot, he was happy to be proudly displaying his trusty bike. Raymond was his name and he boasted at being 79 years old, but still got around by bicycle. Like some of his generation in Tasmania he has probably never left the island.

Well composed, very good work! Congrats!
You wrote "I look so forward into visiting Siberia this year, it will be in the summer however." - Do you visit Sibiria early? What regions (or cities) you want to visit? When you will be in Siberia, I advise to visit city Tomsk, it is interesting and beautiful & old city. Besides the anniversary will be at this year - 400 years. The different measures in city are connected with this date. Officially anniversary will be at the beginning of September.
Best wishes
Maya

Sean, this is amazing. You captured this subject perfectly. Your wonderful summary of the event itself just added more character to this shot. The way you captured the man with the bike using his living conditions as the background enhanced this tremedously. Congratulations on an award winning shot. I love it
Happy shooting
Juanice
