Once again, the composition is great (and almost identical to the first one - I can't believe this is a different photo!). I think I like this photo better than the colour version, simply because the blue/white sky seemed to overpower the subject in the original. Here, the sky is just white space. In fact, I think I'd prefer not to see the black marks in the sky near the index finger. The image is a little soft, but I'm assuming that's due to j-peg compression.
I've looked at the solarized photo too. I commend you for solarizing using more traditional methods, and not just applying a PhotoShop filter (which I'm guilty of). Still, I like this photo the best out of the three.
