Very nice. Thanks for your comments on my 'speed of light'-picture. You are right that the pic is maybe a little too dark but I didn't want to use software to change it because it was in fact this dark! It was a very dark sky and thats why the racecars turned the lights on. So in my view, it would be strange to have the light(er) skies with cars racing with lights. But thanks for commenting on the picture. I do learn more and more! The camera (and lens) are unfortunately not mine. I won a photo contest and the prize was a photo course with professional autosport photographer Frits van Eldik. I got to work for 1 day with his equipment, so this is his camera and lens. It was great to work with but I can't afford over 20,000 euro's for a camera and lens since I am only a student of 20 years old! LOL! Maybe one day... Good luck on you photography, regards, Cas

thank you all for your nice comments! :-))

Scott: I have experimented with flash in such photos but I usually prefer the blurred faces of the available light long exposure ;-)

I think that you should try using a flash to freeze the motion inside of the car, and still have all of the light streaks on the outside.
