Very nice canyon and sky. The left side looks underexposed for some strange reason.

Very beautiful photo, Carol. Great composition. Those clouds just give such depth to the canyon and the water is just fabulous. Congratulations on finding beauty in Texas.

I have stood at this very spot many times, but never seen the canyon look like this! Beautifully eerie lighting (I must say I've never been there in December). Really nice!

Carol;; this is one of those photos where the thumbnail doesn't do it justice. But I love the fuller version, and it would make a wonderful wall print. The composition is perfect and the lighting stunning-- you've done a wonderful job with exposure. The sky is beautiful-- going in my favs! Cheers. Craig

I used to know my clouds but I don't really remember any of it anymore. I always find this type of cloud interesting - you used the clouds wonderfully to funnel the viewer's vision down the canyon. I also like the dark almost sepia tones you used for the earth and rock - it gives the photo an unusual feel.

Neat looking shot. The filter choice is an interesting one. The left and right sides of the photo seem a bit dark. With that noted turning the camera 90 degrees and focusing on the canyon might have worked better compositionally. I'm drawn to look down the canyon. The left and right side of your image really isn't enhancing that. The sky does look unusual. I first thought it was altered in photoshop. I like your different viewpoint and style on this. Very well done.

Great angle for this shot. The lighting seems a little dark. The mountains are intimidating. Good work!

I really like this, but the color in the sky looks a bit unnatural....was sky altered in the computer?
