Roger, thanks for taking the tme to critique my shots-I really appreciate the feedback. I like this shot you have here-it is a good overview of what could be a very interesting study of a Japanese(?) industry. When this guy stops, your pics could serve as the only testament to this man and his life's work. So yes, move in closer on the signs now you have this overview, capture him at work and show us the results!

I think this loses out slightly to the other, sensationally good, shot of this same location that you posted recently, By any other standard, though, this is a wonderful shot. The time exposure on the wave motion creates a really dreamy effect...

Way to be there at exactly the right time! The light on the castle is amazing, and coupled with the soft water in the foreground and the deep blacks of the rocks and hills you've got one amazing image!
