great image. lines and colors and angles and image is superb. from the contrast of the stark black dress to the muted colors in the wall...to the angle of her arm opposite the scrape in the wall.

I personal prefer the original composition. The symmetric well balanced background is overlapped by an unbalanced scene of an "important" woman which is alone looking to the counterpart. The two "layers" create a dynamic contrast where each plane enhance the other.

I have to agree with others that the cropping is reducing this image. I would have prefered to see the right side cropped more so.

This is a case where simply cropping it differently would make it more compelling for me. I like the colors, pose, lighting, and details. What do you think of cropping it something like this (below)? Nice shot..:)
