dear uldra, i find this a most attractive portrait, not to speak of the girl. she is a beauty, indeed! i would not "enhance" your picture in ps, because to me the only flaw is the slight underexposure which i just connect to a night scene, beach party or the like. my reasons: (1) the red adds a warm glow to the face which is lost into cold blow by reducing the red. (2) there is a slight red eye in the right one(from me) but so dim that i don't find it distracting. if you like, give it a little more brightness, if at all. best regards charlie.f.kohn@sixpence-pictures.com // madrid
Pretty girl, I dont think this image deserved to be over looked.
The shot is slightly under exposed. Something you can easily fix using the levels tool in photoshop or similarYou have a distinct red cast and visible red eye in this shot. Was this a crop from a larger image? It looks very pixelatted, as though you have run out of resolution at this level of crop.
I have done a little PS work on your image, adjusted levels, reduced the red cast and de saturated the red channel slightly, removed the Red eye and added come catch lights to your models eyes and run a little unsharp mask filter on the shot. These would work even better on the original, larger image. Hope you dont mind.
