From the front yard, just one of my wife's many amazing flowers - later to become a Blue ribbon winner at the Fair. I used aperture preview and 200-300 macro. Very sunny day - sun was high and to the right. Question - Comments on the crop ?
this is a real good example of minimal DOF Mike, thanks for your comment, you are right, i was listening to music and that makes the strings vibrate, thats why the wood is in focus but strings are blurry :)
I like the softness of the photo, and the background. My only little quibble with the crop is that the tip of the flower is touching the edge, could use a little more top and maybe a little less bottom IMO, but all in all its nice.
