I have another photograph of this house taken with the wider lens of the Widelux swing-lens camera. I'll put that up for comparison, as a response to Hassan's comment. The Widelux is my personal favourite of this house so far, although the actual image quality of the TX-1 here is slightly better.

Roger, I like this just as much as the b/w version, if not better. However I do agree that the right hand side could lose a little in the crop, and the corner could be place a little to one side of centre. I think this would enhance the composition of an already superb photograph.

Roger, what a wonderful little house! I love the way the trees have been incorporated into the house itself - living with nature at it's best! Nice job with the panorama, getting two full sides of this multi-faceted building. The sky looks a bit washed out, but it also looks as though it was an overcast day, which would explain that. P.S. Thank you so much for your comments on my sunset photo - I really appreciate it!

hELLO Roger ,I like the Panorama view very much , my only comment here , I just think you need a more wide angle lens to show more of the trees and sky from up and the connection of the street down , still a good shot. Regards .............. ~~ Hassan ~~

I agree it is a most interesting house but with this pic as it is presented I ould crop some of the left to bring the house more in the frame. At the moment the corner is almost central so my eye wanders left and right. Regards Marie

roger, as i have not seen the b/w version so far, this comes as a surprise view of tokyo to me. this is probably how the city loked once upon a time. how interesting that the typical structure of the country prevails. very interesting angle and very good perspective. naturally, the details are lost in this w/a picture. but that gives you more chance to work into more and more close-ups ending in abstracts. regards charlie.f.kohn@sixpence-pictures.com // madrid
