Very cute. I believe that this photo envokes the mother child love response in the viewer.

Sorry Charlie I forgot but it does look as though your camera auto white balance was a little off.

thank you very much graham. but i just may point you back to what i wrote to mirko on oct06. it was the real late daylight that shows here and i didn't like to brighten that up for another than the impresson there was.
thank you very much for your proposal. but cantabria didn't show that sort of "tropical evening" at that time.
best regards

Love the soft lighting and the composition Charlie.
The image seems a little blue though and cold. Was the white balance on your camera OK. I tried warming it up a little what do tou think?

I personally like that there is not a lot of detail in the people. As I see it, this image is more about the feeling and the surrounding beauty of the water than about the people. The reflection in the water is wonderful. The color, outstanding. The water melts perfectly into the sky. Leaving a horizon line that is very subtle.

molto gracie mirko, i admit the impression can be misleading but my intention came out right to not only catch them playing with the waves but also to show the late daylight. in dusk they could find no end to running and playing the beach.
as always with borderline pictures they are open for interpretation as per personal style and attitude.

Potentially a great pic... i like the reflection and the overall clairity of the image... maybe a little underexposed (you have lost details on the kid) and the centered composition make this "action shot" a little static.. try to crop in the right side... in this way the result is a more dynamic pi IMHO...

About "Jogger in Querini Park": the perfect reflection of the church exalt IMHO the sense that something is "wrong"... the first impression is that the pic is upside-down... but the jogger help the viewer to see the reality... and the reflection of the jogger is the proof this reflection is real...

I'm from Treviso, a city about 30 Km inland from Venice... italy. ;)
