Excellent Macro Sammy! I think its a bit unfortunate that you can see your own reflection in the eye. I think it takes away from the mystique. Otherwise well done!

I think the reflection works very well. The juxtaposition of looking into the cat's eye and actually seeing what it sees is almost haunting. One has to work hard to focus on the detail of the eye itself but this only adds to the evocative nature of the eye. Great photo.

I am sure the cat is friendly, but the picture gives a very different idea ! You conveyed an impression of ferocity really well: good crop and angle. A pity for the reflection, it spoils the atmosphere a little.
