Jim, I agree with your idea for timelessness. I removed the lights but since there is no actual light source, it looks kinda weird. Look at it...

A great idea and very strong composition. You might consider eliminating the two lights in Photoshop -- they are little distracting and without them the scene would be almost timeless. Great work.
