Fantastic and original portrait, Andrew. Incredible tones, as always, and a wonderful juxtaposition of Man and Man's Creation - both in the sculpture and the muscles. Outstanding!

I like how the big sculpture repeats the shapes of his muscles.

Andy, what's brilliant about this shot is that is perfectly compliments on ongoing theme in your work: nature versus man. Here, we have a terrific specimen of man, who is shown to be none the lesser while standing next to a man-made monolith. All augmented by a subtle but purposefully lit scene. One of your best outdoor portraits.

An amusing if somewhat enigmatic contrast between massive modern art and a man who would certainly seem massive without the visual competition. As often happens with Mister Caldwell's work, one is reminded of 1930's "Life" magazine "photo-journalism."
