This is a superb portrait. It is technically spot on and has all the elements needed to lift it out of the ordinary. There is an immediate mystery about the subject; she seems set for everything from gardening to flying a biplane. Her strong, intense expression is really well captured in your dark tones. A killer image!

Beautiful, Erik. The composition and expression are wonderful, but it's the tones here that take this from very good to excellent for me. Love love love the great control of those whites -- so many light shades, but the only true white on the cuff of the glove.
