This is actually a group of six dancers jumping in the air simultaneously. They were performing in a festival held in Ura, a tiny village in east-central Bhutan. They are all masked.
Win, very well captured. Such a fine and delicate balance is required to get this one right. I can imagine some wishing for a wider aperture to provide less DOF, but then it might have been more difficult to shoot. At the same time, I almost wish that an even faster shutter speed was used here, as there is just a faint sense of motion blur. Nonetheless, this is a fine and expressive capture. Just fine as is. I am certain that this is a very marketable picture.
yep, you've captured them nicely in mid-air. I think the background works well. Its a natural cultural setting, and the yellow pants REALLY stands out. good shot.
Good shot and good timing. I think it would be better with a simpler, or plain background, but maybe there was no better angle. They don't really stand out against that dark wall. I like this picture a lot though.
