About
This is a photo of a curve on the southern highway 101 after sunset. Highway 101 follows the entire coast line of Oregon. It was my first visit to the old highway, and the photo I took here was just what I hoped to see from up there. I like the long exposures of head lights and tail lights on curvy roads like this, but I have seen very few locations from which to view these kind of sights. Lens and exposure were not recorded............. probably my Canon 70-210 F4 and at least 2 to 5 minutes, possibly longer...... I really don't recall.
Thank you Photo LB Na Saad. The photo does not have a lot of modifications. I am beginning to think the photo is over 5 minutes long now. I can tell that because of the silkiness of water. Most of what I was able to do was lighten the image and get a small amount of green to come out. I lost the slight reds of the tail lights, but no big deal considering the gains that I got by lightening it using PS's 'Levels' controls. The original is a darker image as you can see here in the untouched original. You can compare these two and notice how well the Neat Image program eliminated the grain.
Thank you again guys, I will pick up another CD today with another 60 of my slides. This is some new fun for me. I have another view overlooking a highway rest area that also turned out well... ahh, maybe tonight??? ;)
