I cropped a bit from both sides (more from the right); convert to BW with "nik color effex pro", an excellent software for BW conversions, added some grain as well
some other tricks but it needs a long explanation and my English is very poor :)

I really like your version txules ...everthing is a learning curve for me... not very versed on PS... just what I have discovered by playing around with tools... what did you do to adjust this?

absolutely, in BW you are not disturbed by the color hint, you are just focused on the face, the play of light, shadows and blur make an interesting image, a bit spooky but beautiful for me
I tried my own BW version let me know
