About Beautiful foggy morning, so I drove out to this property I scouted out earlier - an acreage just outside of town - tracked down the farmer and asked if I could take pictures around his property - he had a beautiful stand of spruce trees, and horses gamboling in the mist. "No" he says... bastard... so I got this shot on the way out anyway. The wire loop in the middle reminded me of an Irish knot, and got me to thinking out the troubles poor auld Ireland seems to drift in and out of over the ages... hence the name.

LOLOL.... Ah, my secret identity has slipped out, finally, after all these years. My first name is Jon, but I usually go by "Jeff", which is my middle name. Except for on UF, where I adopted Jon as nom de plume, as it were.

Hi Jon,
I lived with that sibling rivalry thing with my two boys for years too. There is five years difference between my two. The older ones can be awful mean to the young ones sometimes. I think it has a lot to do with the young ones stealing the attention away from the older ones. Later on, it all works out fine. :)
BTW. If you don't mind me asking, why do you have Jon as your first name, yet you sign as Jeff?
Andre

Thank you. I totally missed the symbolism, but of course it's obvious....:-]

The Easter connection totally escaped me...! But yes. And thanks for all the kind comments.

Cheers,

Jeff

(PS: 9-year old down the street spilled the beans about the whole Santa/Easter Bunny thing to my 6 year old this weekend... grrrrr.... )

Hi Jon,
This might not have been your intention, but for anyone into religious symbolism, this looks like a sure bet for an Easter image. I agree with Vehbi below. It seems a no brainer for a Good Friday post.
It really is a strong image.
Andre
