You're welcome Patrick. This photograph is so elegant! Everytime I look at it, I see magical water sprites dancing in the water. See the the first one on the far left? The one with the long goatee? He's definitely the leader. They are one with the water, yet cavort so quickly upon it that the human eye cannot see it unless a very clever photographer slows his shutter speed! Thank YOU!

Thanks for your kind words, Marybeth. Actually the sense of motion isn't created by freezing the water by using a fast shutter speed, but by using a slow one. I took this using 1/15th of a second so that the water blurred.

"Water Sprite Celebration" I like this photograph very much. It looks magical with the shades of blue, the subtle play of light and the freezing of motion.
