About inside of my project "haikús"
.................................................

The haiku, derived haikai, is a form of traditional Japanese poetry.
Formally, it is a short poem, usually seventeen syllables in three lines, five, seven and five syllables respectively. But this is not what characterizes the haiku.
What characterizes the distance of haiku and other forms of poetry is its content. A haiku seeks to describe a very brief scene, seen or imagined.

A definition of Matsuo Basho

"Haiku is simply what is happening in this place at this time."

hi Malules, thank you for your message, it is appreciated. I may lay claim to small amounts of sensitivity but knowledge needs more work! .....I did a bit of research, your reply to Armando was very useful and informative...."Haiku is simply what is happening in this place at this time." this is a good definition for photography, maybe? "photography is simply what is happening in this place at this time." warm regards and thanks for your work. david.

I leave you a few words about what a "Haiku". You did well to ask. So I added the explanation in the "about".

hi Malules, I love this, you have been at it again!...is this from Masaoka Shiki? .....your shot could be very poignant because this poet spent much of his life suffering from tuberculosis, coughing up blood (bit morbid, sorry) and maybe this is part of your story? kind regards, have a fantastic 2009. kind regards, david.

Ciao Malules ,

How are you ?

It's a lot of time I do not comment your always interesting paintings.

Here I am , however.

But let me know a thing , and forgive my ignorance : what means the word " KAIKUS " ???????

As for your abstract I can say that you are going on the field of post-post modern style .

Very interesting job.

ciao.
