Thanks so much .B, you humble me with your kind words. This was taken in the middle of Bozeman as I was coming into town to do some Christmas shopping. I parked my car and walked over to these trees to see if I could hide the city and show off the view. I so appreciate your positive words and compliments. Blush, blush!! You to have some great skill with much that have shared. Have a wonderful holiday season and most of all a great New year!! Be well, Stan

Thanks Abdelrahman, I like the extra work on this. This valley is supposed to be one of the most fertile valleys in the world, next to the Nile. You captured the valley floor very well. thanks for taking the time to do that. I have just been using Photoshop since May, it is a loot to learn how to use properly. I am reading some books by Tim Grey and Scott Kelby about workflow and using a lot of the different features that I have not yet conquered. Be well my friend, Stan

I did not do anything except size that one for a quick upload. I did not have my Rebel with because it was so cold where I was and the little Nikon is a little more durable and only cost $40 at a garage sale. The skiing is great here in the Rockies. Will keep track of your shots as well. Helps me see the world as others do. Be well, Stan

I will be posting some mountain and ski photos over the winter so keep an eye out for them. I have never been to your country and there is much I would like to see as well. Thanks for sharing your beauty as well. Here is another shot from that evening. This is a better view of the Bridger Range. I ski under the moon on the other side of the mountain. If you ever make it to this area I will show you around! Be well, Stan

Thanks Abdelrahman, I really appreciate the good comment. This is one of my favorite times of the year as the snows begin the coating of the mountains adding even more to the contours. Have a great weekend. Be Well, Stan

We are supposed to be really cold for the next week. I am going to practice some indoor strobe stuff and see what I come up with. I just figured out the stacking layers trick and also figured out the HDR on PS, I have not really gotten anything worth showing yet. I think there are better HDR plugins to use. I am just using what I have for now. Your plan should work for some detail. That was taken with the Lumix? I have to go out and feed the horses and break open the water for them. I will get good and cold quickly. Be well, Stan

OMG thats cold, It was freezin here at -4C. I optimized the settings on the cam so exp time was 1/750 but I notcied I HAVE to use a tripod, even with the VR lens there was some blur. So nect time with tripod, exp time around 1/5 sec and I will take several shots so I can do stackin/hdr to get more detail. Like on

I give the nod to you Harry. Great shot!! We were -29C yesterday so my camera was inside keeping warm. No moon because of the snow storm. Glad I got the shots when I did. Great detail on the moon. I will have to work on my coolpix to make a better effort at presenting more polished shots. Still figuring out the manual settings on it. Be well, Stan
