It is exactly that red-rose umbrella put in such a perspective between the leading lines that tells me where to point my look, Rina! It stands right on place and right on color too, as it seems to be the only spot of such tones in the extremely differently colorded scene.
Ther is a very subtle antagonism of light between the foreground that seems to lie in the sun and the rest of the image that seems to be awaiting the storm. Very highly loaded, full of tension I must say. The many good details support it too but they still keep subtle.
I don't think that there is any possibility to make it better. Spot on.

An excellent image Rina.
I was just in a conversation with another member about how having a single man made item in a landscape can often be a plus to add interest to the scene. This is a perfect example of that kind of image. Without the pink parasol, we have a beautiful natural landscape. But, with the addition of the parasol, we have something special!

Hiya Honey, how's my favourite Aussie Kiwi Sheila this lovely day??
I love this wonderful composition with it's splash of pink sunshade strategically placed off centre. The scene tells me that it was not the best of days with that moody and threatening skyline and the patchy sunlight hitting the sands; the sea looks calm though. The tones are great, I love the silhouetted islands and the overall detailing is great. Well done to you sweet Rina, but tell me, just who is that hiding behind the umbrella, hmmn  Kisses and hugs you gorgeous girl.....Ray

wonderful. the exposure is very good, leading to perfect colors.. composition is good too, maybe a little crop from the top to make us concentrate more on the girl with the umbrella ? just a personal taste..

This is so beautiful - I LOVE the coloring and lighting here! I love the way it looks so soft, too - excellent work with this! Plus, I just realized after I looked at this picture that I used to live by this beach when I lived in NZ! Oh, how I miss it!
