Thanks a lot for the info about the making, Dave! So it was indeed a rather good exercise considering all the necessary things to do, especially for avoiding the glare. Not many people think about that when using a flash. So, even better as a work than I already thought of.

Hi Nick, thanks for the comment! You're right, it wasn't just a matter of clicking a shot of the sign. It was indoors and I didn't have a tripod available, so had to use flash. There was a lot of glare produced by the flash, so I had to take the shot at an angle, which produced a pronounced perspective distortion. The distortion was corrected and the image cropped in PP to what you see here. Dave.

It is a very good and exact depiction of the "letters", Dave, which for itself is much harder to achieve than many would perhaps think of. Alone the absence of jigsaws on the diagonal contours speaks for itself. And it is also a good, simple and effective abstract, if you wish. Many times less is more.
