Hi Paul, a bed can be a "battle front" (metaphorically speaking), I had several pictures of this bed and its net with several approachs, soft, high-key, BW...in this to fit the title I tried a high contrast image and yes I used a HDR program but controlling the colors, they are usually very bold

It doesn't look like a battle front to me but it does have some beautiful flowing lines from top to bottom. Fantastic colours and lighting. Has this been put through a HDR program?

Ectoplasmic bed!Great light and texture.If you are in Madrid( Iwas last weekend)don't miss the Bill Brandt exhibition in BBVa Castellana.Apart from the photos of a mainly documentary nature there's also a video directed by Brandt exploring his more surreal work which is AMAZING!

Like the texture and color of the net with the wood tones and the butterfly. Looks like an interesting battlefield. Very dreamlike and looks so soft.

Hi Gary, probably you remember some other pictures of this bed and its beautiful mosquito-net, every year I come back to Mexico for my winter vacations to the same place and same bed, and yes I've had some interesting battles there :)

You've had a few Kodak moments with that bed, must hold some grand memories for you. At first glance it reminds me of a jellyfish, but maybe that's too Freudian.
